Reed's

Butterscotch originated in England during the mid-19th century, and Reed's Candy Company helped make the crunchy confection an American tradition. Founded in 1893, the Chicago-based family business perfected the cooking process and became the largest butterscotch producer in the US. Reed's hard candy rolls were an instant sensation. Before long, these individually wrapped discs were available in an assortment of flavors, including retired varieties such as licorice and teaberry. The smooth, rich taste pleased sweet tooths around the world, and the unique cellophane packaging ensured longlasting quality. Fans were devastated when production ceased in 2006. Fortunately, their cries were heard, and the original old fashioned hard candy was resurrected in four of Reed's most popular flavors. Whether you're craving classic butterscotch, tangy root beer, refreshing peppermint, or spicy cinnamon flavored candy, you can stock up on your favorites at Candy Warehouse.
