I use this when my throat gets dry and I start coughing. I put one in my mouth and almost instantly my coughing stops. Regular cough drops don't help at all.

When I was a kid, horehound drops were available in most drug stores. They're hard to find now. The Claey's horehound drops taste very much as I remember, including the granular sugary coating and the robust taste of the horehound herb, sweet but also unique in flavor.
