Koppers Chocolate Rocks - Nuts & Fruits Candy Pebbles: 5LB Bag

This worked well for an idea I had for a spiritual "12 Days of Christmas" for family members. It was what I used for "Rock" from the New Testament. I really liked how the "rocks" looked so authentic and were different sizes. The "rock" coating was a bit different than I expected but wasn't bad. There were some very large "rocks" which were malted milk balls and some small "pebbles" which were chocolate covered raisins and things like that. The "jury" is still out on how well my family received them. I will be asking for their opinions after Christmas.

I first bought these years ago to decorate a deep-sea birthday cake for my son. Since then, we've been addicted to this sometimes-crunchy, sometimes-chewy, always-delicious candy mix. I used to keep this out all the time in a beautiful dish, but my husband couldn't walk by without grabbing some. Now I use them for entertaining or "special," for they truly are a treat.

So unusual and every single one is a taste sensation. The nuts and fruits are delicious. The candy coating was hard on one of the larger rocks, but just bite carefully. [...]

These "rocks" are beautiful to display in a dish, and delicious to eat. There's so much variety, it's hard to choose a favorite!
